Mark Borghesani is Of Counsel
to The Cullen Firm in connection with several
major class action law suits brought in the US
against Marriott and other international hotel
chains who are alleged to have engaged in deceptive
pricing practices in properties operated by them
in Russia. Mr. Borghesani is primarily based
in Moscow.
Mr. Borghesani has over 16 years of international commercial
and litigation experience, having worked at some of the
world’s most prestigious international law firms
in Washington, DC, London and Moscow, Russia. Most recently,
Mr. Borghesani was the managing partner of the Moscow
office of Macleod Dixon, LLP and prior to that he was
Senior Counsel at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae,
LLP.
His practice includes civil litigation, international
commercial arbitration, enforcement and defense of enforcement
of arbitral awards, and he has participated in several
multi-jurisdictional litigation matters.
Mark Borghesani received his law degree in 1989 from
the Marshall Wythe School of Law at
the College of William & Mary,
and his B.A in 1984 from the University of Virginia.
He is an LL.M candidate at Georgetown University Law
Center and
is also admitted to the DC and Virginia bars.
Mr. Borghesani is fluent in Russian.
